Virginia Louise Owsiany

Virginia Louise Owsiany, 97, of Paw Paw, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at her home in Paw Paw.

She was born January 27, 1928, in Paw Paw, Michigan, the daughter of Leo Ross and Alvina (Freeman) Ross.

Virginia enjoyed going to the Everglades every year to escape the Michigan winters. She also looked forward to going to garage sales every Friday with her sister-in-law, Anne. Virginia was a strong and brave woman and was never scared to get behind the wheel of anything. She drove almost everything, from tractors to motorhomes! She was an animal lover and liked to watch the hummingbirds and spoiled her Great Dane pups!

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Owsiany; son, Arthur Owsiany; grandson, Clinton Massey and great-grandchildren, Carleigh and Wyatt Massey.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Theodore Owsiany; son, Donald Owsiany and brothers, Arthur and Donald Ross.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Saint Mary Cemetery in Paw Paw at a later date.
