Becky L (White) Valdez

Becky L. Valdez, 69, of Paw Paw, passed away Monday October 4, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.

She was born October 3, 1952 in Mattawan, the daughter of the late Darl White and Jacquelyne (Winther) White.

On November 7, 1987 she married Jesse Valdez who survives.

She is also survived by her children, Larry (Amber) Valdez, Katie Kristina Valdez, Tanya Marie (Matthew) Valdez, Cindy Lou Valdez, Grandchildren, Dominique, Bryson, Nathan, Madelyn, Jack "Bubba", Brooklyn, Izabella, Chevy and Gabrielle, one brother, Thomas (Mary Cane) White, one sister, Teri (Terry) Vaden, along with many nieces and nephews.

Becky was the rock of her family. She always had a smile, positive outlook and a caring heart of gold that she opened up to many. Over the years she gave a loving home to several foster children. In addition, she had a love for animals and was a mother to many dogs that she and her family shared companionship with. Becky was always supportive of her children and made sure they never went without. Family gatherings and holidays were very special for Becky. Her favorite was Christmas! She loved decorating and getting the presents ready for her family. It gave her great joy to put a smile on their faces! She would play Bingo and take trips to the casino for fun as well as traveling. She was also very proud and supportive of her community over the years, volunteering with the Chamber of Commerce and donating her time to assist with community events. In the springtime she would take great pride in tending to her lilacs around her yard. She will be missed by her loving family and many friends.

Family and friends will visit on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 pm at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. There will be a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Buddy Turner officiating. Following visitation, family and friends will gather for a time of food and fellowship beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church 32464 Red Arrow Highway, Paw Paw.
