Dale Leo Hiemstra

Dale Leo Hiemstra, 75, of Paw Paw, passed away Thursday September 23, 2021.

He was born April 30, 1946 in Paw Paw, Michigan, the son of  the late Jacob Hiemstra and Josephine (Mills) Daines. On November 13, 1965 in Paw Paw, he married Sandra (Pressey) Hiemstra who survives.

He is also survived by his two daughters, Tammy (Kurt) Kastelic and Stacy Hiemstra; three grandchildren, Eric Kastelic, Glen Kastelic and Veronica Kastelic; brother, Lee (Debbie) Harrison; sister, Beverly (Cliff Farrow) Mroczek; sister in law, Judy Harrison along with many nieces and nephews.

Dale Leo Hiemstra was an avid lover of classic cars. He treasured his 1950 Ford pickup truck that he proudly displayed at many vintage car shows over the years. He was one of the founding members of the #1 Car Club. Dale was very mechanical and could fix most anything. In addition, he was also a great woodworker and enjoyed building things

Dale was preceded in death by his brothers, Max Harrison, Gerald Harrison and William Harrison.

Cremation has taken place at Dale's request. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
