Frances Lee (Bekielewski) Bartlett

Frances Lee Bartlett, age 68, of Paw Paw passed away Wednesday morning, November 27, 2019 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo with her family at her side.  Lee was born November 30, 1950 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Frank and Betty (Johnson) Bekielewski.   Lee enjoyed knitting, cross stitching, helping the VFW with Poppies, cooking and boating on Maple Lake.   While living in Chicago, Lee was a teacher’s aide at Avondale School and actively involved with Cub Scout Pack # 3941 and after moving to Paw Paw with Boy Scout Troop # 169.  Her real passion was collecting Angels and Christmas ornaments.  Most of all being with her grandchildren.  On December 12, 1970 In Chicago, Lee was united in marriage to Ronald Scott Bartlett who survives.  Also surviving are 3 children, Robert (Kim) Bartlett, Sherry (Bob) Higgins and Victoria (John) Appelhans; grandchildren, Jonathon Stasiek, Riley Bartlett, Jaden Appelhans, Jake Bartlett, Rachelle Appelhans, Haley Higgins, Ethan Higgins, Coleman Bartlett and Molly Higgins; siblings, Patty (Larry) Vanderhorst, Michael (Suzanne) Bekielewski and Christopher (Michelle) Bekielewski; to many nieces and nephews to name them all but please know she loved you all so very much.  Sister-in-law, Sue (Tom) Vitello and Brother-in-law Gary Muhr.   Lee was preceded in death by a sister, Lynn (Bill) Lomax, and brother, Mark (Sharry) Bekielewski.  Family will receive friends Saturday, December 7th from 11 am to 2 pm at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where services will be held at 2 pm with Rev. Fr. Joseph Xavier officiating.  Cremation to follow.  Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop # 169, 35009 32nd Street, Paw Paw, MI  49079.
