Judy Mae Thompson, 73, of Watervliet, passed away Monday November 14, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born July 12, 1949 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the daughter of Wilbur Daily and Frieda (Neely) Daily.
Judy was a loving and caring wife and mother. She loved the outdoors and working in the yard as well as tending her garden. As an avid music lover, she played the piano, organ and drums. Judy was devoted to her faith and service to the Lord at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Hartford, where her husband Clyde was pastor for more than 30 years. Among her many talents, Judy was an excellent cook and baker.
On May 31, 1966, she married Clyde Thompson who survives.
She is also survived by her three sons, Phillip (Brenda) Thompson, Adam Thompson and Donnie (Jennifer) Thompson, ten grandchildren, Brent Thompson, Keeper Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Michael Thompson, Skylar Thompson, Nikoli Thompson, Logan Thompson, Andrew Thompson and Erika Thompson and Russell Harden, seven great grandchildren, siblings, Jerry (Brenda) Daily, Frieda (Bill) Eddy, Don (Rose) Johnson, Herald Daily, Andy (Diana) Johnson, Chris (Rhonda) Johnson, Connie Clouse and Sandra (late Keith) Castro.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur Daily and Frieda (Neely) Daily and her son, Chris Thompson.
Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. A life celebration will be held at Grace Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 47377 M 51, Decatur, Michigan, Friday November 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jack Midkiff officiating. Cremation will follow services.
