Lawrence Joseph Doyle

Lawrence "Larry" Joseph Doyle, 74, of Lawrence, passed away Thursday August 1, 2019 at his home.

He was born October 9, 1944 in Paw Paw, to the late Francis Doyle and Lucille (Austgen) Doyle.

Larry worked as an optician for more than 40 years and owned his own optical lab. He enjoyed woodworking and working around his garage. He built the family home on Lake Cora, where he enjoyed time with his family, friends and neighbors. Larry loved the lake; he was a founding member of the Lake Cora Corporation.

On July 18, 1970, he married Marilyn Riley Doyle who survives.

He is also survived by his two daughters, Kristin (Pete) Caroselli and Holly (John) McCaw; four Grandchildren, Anna Caroselli, Dominic Caroselli, Mackenzie McCaw and Sara McCaw; one sister, Marguerite "Peg" Rushmore.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Doyle, Tom Doyle and his sister, Marian Haw.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 6, 2019, beginning 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, where a celebration will commence at 11:00 am with Rev. David Small officiating.
