Liam Jason Rupp peacefully passed at home in the loving arms of his parents, Eric and Lindsay Rupp, on October 25, 2021. He was born on August 27, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Though Liam’s life on earth was short, his impact on his family and those around him is large. God miraculously blessed Liam with two months of life where he could feel the warm love and embrace of his family. The family is also deeply thankful for the compassionate team of neonatal doctors and nurses at Bronson and Mott who tenderly cared for him every day of his life.
He is dearly loved by his parents, older brothers (Coen and Theo), paternal grandparents (Keith and Linda Rupp), maternal grandparents (Larry and Nancy Rottmeyer), uncles (Trevor Rupp and David Rottmeyer), aunt (Lyndsey Rupp), and so many others who have been praying for him.
They all look forward to being with Liam again when Jesus returns with resurrecting power. As the family grieves, they grieve with the hope that God is faithful and he will make good on his promise to make all things new. Liam has shared in the suffering of Jesus, and one day, he will get to share with Jesus in everlasting life, with lungs and limbs that work perfectly.
Visitation will be Monday, November 1, 2021 at Lawton Evangelical Church from 4:00-7:00pm. A private family burial and service will take place the following day. In lieu of flowers, consider a gift to the family to cover any funeral expenses or making a contribution to Miracle Camp (miraclecamp.com/giving).
