Patricia A. (Drake) Lauer

Patricia A. Lauer, age 88, of Lawton,  went home to the Lord April 10, 2020. She was born July 21, 1931, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Clayton and Mildred (Dean) Drake. Pat was united in marriage to Glenn S. Lauer on December 31, 1982 in Augusta, MI, and preceded her in death on November 12, 2006. Pat was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Van Werden and Donna DuGuay.
Pat leaves her daughter, Patricia A. (Daniel) Pratley of Lawton, two step-daughters, grandchildren, Debbie, Rachel, Liz, Laura and Stephen, along with nine great-grandchildren.

Honoring Pat’s wishes cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the First Baptist Church, Paw Paw, on Monday, June 29, 2020, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Services will be held immediately following at 11:00 am with Pastor Buddy Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan. Since we still need to take precautions and utilize social distancing there will not be a time of fellowship and food to follow as the family had hoped.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be directed to the First Baptist Church, Paw Paw or the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
