Richard L. Hall

August 15, 1930 ~ April 5, 2020 (age 89)


Richard Hall, 89, of Mattawan, passed away Sunday April 5, 2020 at his home.
He was born August 15, 1930 in Kalamazoo, the son of the late Albert Hall and Alice (McGillen) Hall.
On February 19, 1966 in Kalamazoo, he married Jacqueline (Statler) Hall who survives.
He is also survived by his two Grandchildren, Dylan Hall and Connor Hall, his extended family, close neighbors and friends, many that were always there to lend a hand.
Richard  was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet Hall and his father and mother in law, Eugene and Lorraine Statler.
Dick was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War as a Combat Medic, he was a lifetime member of the Decatur VFW Celery City Post 6248. He and Jackie enjoyed camping trips and fishing, he was very mild mannered and was always willing to help anyone at anytime. Dick was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on things. The family would like to extended their appreciation to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan for the care and kindness taking care of Richard. Due to current restrictions, private burial took place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan. There will be a public memorial service at a later date.
