Rosemary Christine Beyer, 38, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Paw Paw, passed away in Chicago on Oct. 24, 2019 after a long illness. Born on Nov. 26, 1980, Rosemary was a 1999 graduate of Paw Paw High School. She earned her degree in liberal arts from Albion College, attended Cooley Law School in Lansing, and studied for her masters degree at Columbia College in Chicago.

Rosemary had a long career in medical research in oncology (cancer) and gastroenterology, in both Western Michigan and Chicago. At the time of her death, she was a certified clinical research coordinator in oncology with the Alpha Med group of Healthcare Research Network. Always interested in music, Rosemary was an ardent fan of Rise Against, the Adam Ezra Group and was looking forward to the next concert by the Lumineers.

Rosemary is survived by her parents, Deborah Beyer of Kalamazoo and Dr. Roger Beyer (Susan Wright) of Paw Paw. Also surviving are a brother, R. Abram Beyer (Yu Chu Lo) of Chicago; sisters Rachel Beyer of Paw Paw and Ramsey Beyer (Michael Cantor) of Philadelphia; plus two nephews, Thomas and Asher Beyer of Paw Paw; and her beloved cat, Mulligan. She was preceded in death by her brother R. Graham Beyer, an infant sister Ruthann, and her rescue cat Brody.

A celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November, 2, 2019, at Adams Funeral Home in Paw Paw.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rosemary’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
